QR-Code will enhance your Business Cards

What is about QR-Code that will help you promote your brand better?

QR-Code, as everyone begin to realize, is not just a "looks-cool" addition to your card. Its potential to promote brands thru embedded links to corporate website and share contact details are now undeniable.

How many of us has to type seemingly endless characters in our tiny phone's keyboard just to navigate to a website or someone else's blog? QR-Code changes all that by embedding the URL in a small black maze-like image that when someone scans using his/her smartphone it will pops up the web browser and instantly navigate to a target website address! Isn't it amazing?

In business cards, the most common use of QR-Code is to embed the contact details written on the card that when scanned it will get saved in the mobile's contact list with ease. No need to type each individual info. Sharing info is never been so easy with QR-Codes  =)

The first to introduce QR-Codes in business cards in the Philippines is uEDGE, a business card maker who now has 3 mall branches. You may visit our website at: http://uedge.ph for more info.

Blog? or Brag?

One of the most popular pages in the web are the blogs. And most of the time it provides interesting views about a particular subject from a 3rd party source, usually regular people who just want to express their appreciation or disgust about their day to day experience on anything.

But, do we really just have to put anything on the web without any regards to the implications it might cause?

Do we really have the right to use it as a “bragging tool” to intimidate anyone or humiliate someone just because you mentioned that you got a blog?

In my FB page, i always get a story or photo of “supposedly” criminal and they  asked me to “like and share” it as well, but i never did. For me, doing so is a childish thing, you like it because you thought its cool and your friends did the same thing, but never actually thinking about the consequences. Are we really sure that the story is correct? are we sure that the photo is his/her?

"Not because you can, you should…"

"Think before you click…"

Just think about it, you are not the only one who can blog, even the one you threaten can do the same. And also LIBEL is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE.

So BRAG again next time?

Its a Democracy, nobody tells you what to do.

But be a RESPONSIBLE BLOGGER.
